Privacy Policy

This is a non-binding English translation provided for convenience. The German version (Datenschutzerklärung) is legally authoritative and governed by German and EU law (GDPR).

Personal data ("data") is processed by us only to the extent necessary and for the purpose of providing a functional and user-friendly website. This website deliberately does without a contact form as well as analytics and marketing tools; contact is made exclusively by phone or email.

II. Rights of users and data subjects

The competent supervisory authority is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA).

III. Data processing in detail

Hosting and server data

For technical reasons, server log files (browser type, operating system, referrer URL, pages visited, date/time, shortened/anonymized IP address) are processed when this website is accessed. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the stability and security of the website). This data is deleted after seven days at the latest, unless further retention is required for evidentiary purposes. Transmission is encrypted via TLS/SSL.

Contact by phone/email

If you contact us by phone or email, the data transmitted (e.g., name, contact details, message content) is used exclusively to process your inquiry and any resulting contract negotiations. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Your data will be deleted once your inquiry has been fully processed, unless statutory retention obligations apply (e.g., commercial and tax retention periods of up to 10 years in the case of a concluded contract).

Google Maps (only after your active consent)

To display our location, we use Google Maps, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). The map is not loaded automatically when the page is accessed: in the "Location" section, you initially see only a placeholder with a "Load Building View" button. Only when you actively click this button is a Google Street View of the building facade loaded first (with the option to zoom out within the view or switch to the standard map view). This creates a connection to Google's servers, transmitting your IP address and possibly other data (date/time of access) to Google, which may be processed there — including in the USA. The legal basis for this processing, triggered by your click, is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). You can easily avoid this feature by not clicking the button; the studio's address is also available as plain text on the page. More information: policies.google.com/privacy.

Cookies

This website itself does not set any analytics or marketing cookies. Only if you actively load the Google Maps view (see above) may Google set technically necessary cookies on your device. You can also prevent or restrict the installation of cookies via your browser settings.

No transfer to other third parties

Aside from the Google Maps integration described above, which is triggered voluntarily by you, your data is not transferred to third parties.

IV. Changes to this privacy policy

We will update this privacy policy whenever changes to our data processing make it necessary. The version published on this page at the time of your visit applies.
